Stephen Baldwin | provisionsgroup.co

Stephen has been coaching, mentoring, and developing leaders throughout more than forty years of ministry in the US and overseas. He brings passion, encouragement, insight, and experience into developing leaders, and leadership teams.

Along with his business and ministry experience, Stephen's musical and artistic background have connected him with leaders, executives, authors and artists for whom he has one passion — to see them coming alive, giving their unique talents, gifts, and artistry for the good of the world. Stephen has learned that when someone is fully alive in their life and work, the outcomes are powerful and their life is full of joy.

His journey has included singing in a rock band, touring in Italy and Spain on bicycle, and participating in collaborative learning communities in both Switzerland and Montana.

Stephen has led and coached leadership teams made up of leaders in government, medicine, law, finance, education, media, ministry and business.

Stephen and his wife Karen have been Sonship Mentors with World Harvest Mission. They were participants in and subsequently researcher-facilitators of the Pastors Summit initiative. Stephen was also a participant in the Intersect Forum which explored the high correspondence of leadership challenges in the worlds of business and ministry leadership.

These programs were part of the Center for Ministry Leadership at Covenant Theological Seminary that contributed to a broad-based, interdenominational study of sustainable leadership practices in ministry funded by a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment, Inc.

Drawing on research in leadership literature, and participant and focus group interviews, Stephen's doctoral research explored spiritual formation, mentoring, and peer learning among emerging pastoral leaders.
